American Pulverizer's Pre-Shredders are designed to rip bales of scrap into pieces that can be fed into a secondary hammermill for further reduction and liberating. The Pre-Shredder's slow speed ensures a minimum of fines generation.

Pre-Shredders are also ideal for processing aluminum products including sheet and UBC.
